Note on the Battery Law
In connection with the sale of batteries and rechargeable batteries and of devices containing batteries or rechargeable batteries, we would like to draw your attention to the following in accordance with § 18 of the German Battery Act (BattG):
Batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. As the end user, you are legally obliged to return used batteries and rechargeable batteries. After use, you can return them to your local collection point, to a retailer or directly to us (see imprint for address) for free disposal.
Used batteries may contain harmful substances or heavy metals that can damage the environment and health. Batteries can be recycled as they contain important raw materials such as iron, zinc, manganese or nickel.
Batteries and rechargeable batteries that contain harmful substances are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out dustbin and the chemical name of the harmful substance.
